Minnie's Beach Cafe is the place to go for a no-frills, solid American brunch. Their menu features all the classics - fluffy waffles, bagel and egg sandwiches, blueberry pancakes, and more.

Our favorite thing to get at Minnie's Beach Cafe is by far 'The Big Easy' - two eggs your way, homefries or hashbrowns, sizzling bacon, a sausage patty and a sausage link, warm biscuits, sausage gravy, creamy grits, and toast. You definitely want to be hungry if you order it!

Minnie's values simplicity and quality. They don't need to be overly innovative or imaginative with their menu because they know there's something plenty special about perfectly cooked omelets or a solid cup of coffee.

Keep in mind, this is a cash-only establishment.

Stepping into Mademoiselle Paris, you're greeted by a sophisticated yet welcoming vibe. The outdoor courtyard is a blend of Paris and Florida - white linen tables nestled amid palm trees and strung lights with broken shells and sand at your feet.

The menu at Mademoiselle Paris brings traditional preparations such as the classic French omelet, paper-thin crepes, flaky croissants, quiches, and more. Those who take a more minimalist approach to brunch can enjoy a traditional French plate of baguette, butter, and jam, or a bowl of fresh fruit.

One standout feature of brunch at Mademoiselle Paris is the live music on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

The Chateau is all about elegance. This decadent brunch menu is peppered with dishes like crab cakes, Maine lobster frittata, croque monsieur, and portobello panini. This is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or treat yourself to a delicious meal with friends.

This list simply wouldn't be complete without a mention of our favorite Tex-Mex-style breakfast joint. Dig into a pile of breakfast tacos and a margarita for a spicy start to your morning. You'll also find American classics like omelets and pancakes.

Wicked Cantina is certainly not "old Florida" in the traditional sense, but it is one of the best restaurants for Mexican food in the area. They also do takeout, so you can grab your breakfast chimi to eat on the go.

11. Rod & Reel Pier

The Rod & Reel Pier was a beloved AMI landmark until it was destroyed by Hurricane Milton in 2024. Its restaurant was renowned for its tasty seafood dishes and fantastic views. The owner is working to rebuild the pier, but until then, the restaurant operates from a new location at East Bay Drive.

Be sure to swing by for brunch to show your support. Breakfast dishes are served until 11 am, but if you arrive later, be sure to order their famous grouper sandwich.
