Anna Maria Island is located on Florida's Gulf coast 35 miles south of Tampa Bay and 7 miles west of Bradenton Florida. Anna Maria Island Florida is the northern most of a string of barrier islands that stretch in a southerly direction toward the Florida Keys. Surprisingly Anna Maria Island comprises three very unique cities (villages), Bradenton Beach on the southern tip of the island Holmes Beach in the middle and Anna Maria on the northern tip. The sugar white sand beaches and crystal blue waters extend the entire length of Anna Maria Islands seven miles coast line. This isn't a place where you go to the beach. When you are on Anna Maria Island you are at the beach. Anna Maria Island is rimmed with towering Australian pines, some as high as 60 feet, along with magnificent palm trees and sea oats. Abundant bird life soar against the bright blue skies.
Anna Maria Island Florida is affectionately known as the island in the sun and is Florida's best kept secret. With Gulf temperatures averaging 84 degrees and 361 days of sunshine per year the surrounding waters of Anna Maria Island are known as the nursery because of the large number of dolphins that raise their young here. When walking or dining on Anna Maria Island's four gorgeous beaches or its surrounding coast line it is not uncommon to see dolphins playing.
With the island's laid back charm and leisurely unhurried living speed limits are restricted to 25-35 mph throughout the island. This tropical paradise also offers free trolley service for both tourists and residents. A car is not necessary when vacationing on the island or you could park your car for your entire vacation. Updated, adequately stocked, clean. Great location. Beach right across the street. Perfect for 2-4 people. Only downside of the condo was having to go down and outside to wash any laundry. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Located across the road from manatee beach - 2 minute drive to Publix grocery store and lots of shoppes in a strip mall! 5-10 minute in any direction can get you to delicious food and other beaches! This was an ideal place and location for us to relax and also have some fun with our teenage daughters. The beach across the road was great as was the beach equipment supplied which made life easy. Also close enough for a trip to Busch Gardens and Adventure Island and the pool was an added bonus. If you need to recharge the batteries, or spot dolphins and manatees then this is the place to go.

It was very clean, easy to check in, easy to hop on the trolley. The kitchen worked great for us but didn't have like olive oil or basic things like that. Did have coffee filters though. We used the washer and dryer and they were great. Unfortunately, we had some bad weather so we couldn't take advantage of the pool or the pickleball but it was accessible. The bed wasn't super comfortable but nothing traveling is like your bed at home. Our issue was with the property management company and not having luggage storage for an entire day when our flight was late. This was a huge inconvenience and we missed out on a beach day because of it. Overall, it was a good place to stay. We ended up going to places more on the north part of the island so I would stay on anna maria next time but we were able to walk to a lot and see a lot with this location. Great condo and location
Condo was ideal for family of 4. It was a good size and had everything needed to enjoy our stay. Had the bonus of beach chairs and other equipment. A 2 minute walk to the beach with access right opposite development. Beach was awesome and offered great walking swimming and space to enjoy a beach day. Some great local restaurants and take outs (smoqehouse, right next door was brilliant). Easy access to longboat key and on/off island. AMI doesn’t allow chains (Mcd’s Starbucks etc ) which means local business get supported, what a refreshing change. Over 30yrs of visiting Florida and 1st visit to this area, defo would return and would most definitely choose to work with terry again and his family’s condo. 10/10.

Updated, adequately stocked, clean. Great location. Beach right across the street. Perfect for 2-4 people. Only downside of the condo was having to go down and outside to wash any laundry. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Excellent location, short walk to the beach. Was a bit concerned when we arrived and there was only fold up chairs on the deck and around the pool. Once the owners showed up and explained the real outdoor furniture was being redone all was good. Had a great time, thanks Terry. Sorry I can’t remember the owners names

Located across the road from manatee beach - 2 minute drive to Publix grocery store and lots of shoppes in a strip mall! 5-10 minute in any direction can get you to delicious food and other beaches! Quiet location, absolutely loved our first time on Anna Maria island - definitely will be back! Oh, pool was a bonus :)

This was an ideal place and location for us to relax and also have some fun with our teenage daughters. The beach across the road was great as was the beach equipment supplied which made life easy. Also close enough for a trip to Busch Gardens and Adventure Island and the pool was an added bonus. If you need to recharge the batteries, or spot dolphins and manatees then this is the place to go.

Clean condo with balcony and pool. Easy access to beach and grocery store. The trolley stops at the beach which is a one minute walk from condo. Nice place to stay

The property was located a short walk to the beach, easy access to the pool, very clean and well equipped unit. Zero issues the entire stay. They could provide better beach chairs, but overall, very satisfied.

The apartment was very well suited for our family with a perfect location and just steps away from the beach! Short driving distance from grocery store and water attractions. My daughters and I enjoyed our stay in this very clean and tastefully decorated condo. Everything exceeded our expectations! Terry was so nice to work with! We had a great time staying on the Island and really liked the condo! It was a great size for our family of 5 and well equipped with everything we needed. Since we flew down, we really appreciated the beach toys, chairs and cart that were at the unit! It is a great location. Just walk across the street and hang out at the beach during the day or watch the sunset at night. There are other beaches you can visit that are very close and easy to get to. The home is very clean with plenty of space for your belongings so you won't feel crowded.Posted: 1/17/2021

4/5 Enjoyed our stay :) We really enjoyed our stay as a family. The condo was lovely - a bit older, but completely renovated! It is located towards the back of the condo complex so very quiet. When we had questions (eg where are the beach chairs, there’s a little bee nesting in the porch lock), Terry was easy to reach and happy to assist! The condo is well-stocked with towels, beach towels, and beach toys/items. The washer did take a bit long to cycle, but it wasn’t a problem for our family. I highly recommend renting a golf cart to explore the island fully and to help with parking, if a time when the island may be more crowded. We also HIGHLY recommend doing the horseback riding with Cponies — such a fun memory and pictures to boot!!!Posted: 7/13/2020
