Ths Bridge Street shopping village famous for its beach shops, gift shops and boutiques is located within a short walk of the condo as well. There’s a great grocery store right on the island, a fantastic Wal-Mart SuperCenter 5 minutes from the condo and a great shopping mall with all the big department stores as well.
The Shoppes of Paradise Bay Plaza is just about .5 miles away and offers grocery shopping, restaurants, a Starbucks coffee shop, and a Dollar Tree store. The Sarasota/Bradenton airport is a 19-minute drive (10.1 miles) south. Downtown Sarasota and St Armands Circle are about a 30-minute drive south, which is a great place for watching a sunset from a rooftop bar and casual and upscale dining and shopping.
Longboat Key, Bradenton Beach, Holmes Beach and Anna Maria Island have fantastic restaurants and beachside activities such as boat rentals, sunset cruises, jet ski, bike, paddleboard, scooter, and kayak rentals. Don't forget a trip to downtown Bradenton on the Manatee River with bars, dining, and Village of the Arts. This was a great condo - very clean, comfortable, extremely well stocked kitchen, beautiful & luxurious bathrooms. The view was the best. We enjoyed the deck throughout the day but the best was coffee in the am and drinks in the evening. Parking was easy and the heated pool was lovely. An easy walk to the beach. We had 2 very minor issues and they were resolved extremely quickly. We hope to return.

As a family who has rented many vacation homes in different areas, this blew every other one out of the water (no pun intended). The home is fully appointed with everything you need and then some. Even the smallest things like laundry pods to very high quality patio chairs- there is much thought put into this rental. Some things that we greatly appreciated are the: Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrellas, beach goggles/toys, patio chairs & tables, and vinyl flooring. It is a beautifully decorated & modern beach condo. We specifically felt luxurious in the showers with touches of the rain shower head down to the seahorse decorative drain. I loved waking up to the sunrise in the morning, a short walk to the beach in the afternoon. This place truly has everything you could dream of. Terry & Sandy are extremely responsive and accommodating. Lastly, you could not ask for a better location on AMI. We are already looking to book our stay for next year!

the cleanliness of the apartment was not very good, for example the garbage can was very dirty, the kitchen also had its walls full of grease, the air conditioning did not cool well, it was very hot, and the house had a musty smell, for the rest everything was very good, Terry super friendly and attentive, the spectacular view, near the beach, the apartment is very nice and spacious, only that the cleaning was not very good and the air conditioning did not cool well we were very hot, I would return to this apartment and I would recommend it, everything super quiet I liked it

Condo was clean and a great location, right on the bay and just a short 5-15min walk to key locations (restaurants, ice cream, shops and bridge st/pier). A quick couple minute walk and you’re on the beach - can basically see the bay and ocean at same time. Check-in was easy and owner was easy to engage with, particularly appreciated the various tips/recommendations provided. The only criticism is of the sliding barn door for the master bath - nice appearance but less functional as doesn’t provide much privacy and a regular door would be a welcome improvement. Would certainly consider staying here again.

This is a wonderful property. The view from the balcony that overlooks the waterway is amazing! We loved sitting out there to watch the sunrise. The beach is only a short walk. There are restaurants within walking distance. There is no elevator on site. Just keep in mind if you have anyone in your group that may have an issue climbing several flights of stairs.

We stayed in this condo for 3 nights. Wish it could have been longer. Perfect for 2 couples. It was stocked with all of the necessities. Balcony view of the bay was very enjoyable. Walkable location to much that AMI has to offer. I will definitely chose this condo again when we come back!

This was our 7th stay at this location. It keeps getting better and better, the location, the views, the pool, I could go on and on. The location is perfectly situated near Bradenton beach and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Photos look exactly like the condo and the washer and dryer were a nice touch. Fully stocked with all linens, toiletries and other needs for your stay. Probably one of the most well stocked vrbo I have stayed in. My one area of improvement would be the floors. This is the second time we have stayed at the Baywatch Condos. The location is perfect with a beautiful view of the Bay from your balcony accessed through the living room or the master bedroom. It is a short walk to the beach so it has the best of both worlds! Our condo was newly renovated and it was very well appointed it had everything we needed. We increased the time we spent from one year to the next and we enjoyed it for a month this year. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return.EileenPosted: 4/7/2023

This was a great condo - very clean, comfortable, extremely well stocked kitchen, beautiful & luxurious bathrooms. The view was the best. We enjoyed the deck throughout the day but the best was coffee in the am and drinks in the evening. Parking was easy and the heated pool was lovely. An easy walk to the beach. We had 2 very minor issues and they were resolved extremely quickly. We hope to return.

We have been to Anna Maria Island several times, but this was one of our favorite rentals in terms of location. The condo was also extremely clean and very nice with everything you could possibly need. More than enough space for 4 adults and a young child. We hope to be back very soon!

As a family who has rented many vacation homes in different areas, this blew every other one out of the water (no pun intended). The home is fully appointed with everything you need and then some. Even the smallest things like laundry pods to very high quality patio chairs- there is much thought put into this rental. Some things that we greatly appreciated are the: Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrellas, beach goggles/toys, patio chairs & tables, and vinyl flooring. It is a beautifully decorated & modern beach condo. We specifically felt luxurious in the showers with touches of the rain shower head down to the seahorse decorative drain. I loved waking up to the sunrise in the morning, a short walk to the beach in the afternoon. This place truly has everything you could dream of. Terry & Sandy are extremely responsive and accommodating. Lastly, you could not ask for a better location on AMI. We are already looking to book our stay for next year!

the cleanliness of the apartment was not very good, for example the garbage can was very dirty, the kitchen also had its walls full of grease, the air conditioning did not cool well, it was very hot, and the house had a musty smell, for the rest everything was very good, Terry super friendly and attentive, the spectacular view, near the beach, the apartment is very nice and spacious, only that the cleaning was not very good and the air conditioning did not cool well we were very hot, I would return to this apartment and I would recommend it, everything super quiet I liked it

Condo was clean and a great location, right on the bay and just a short 5-15min walk to key locations (restaurants, ice cream, shops and bridge st/pier). A quick couple minute walk and you’re on the beach - can basically see the bay and ocean at same time. Check-in was easy and owner was easy to engage with, particularly appreciated the various tips/recommendations provided. The only criticism is of the sliding barn door for the master bath - nice appearance but less functional as doesn’t provide much privacy and a regular door would be a welcome improvement. Would certainly consider staying here again.

This is a wonderful property. The view from the balcony that overlooks the waterway is amazing! We loved sitting out there to watch the sunrise. The beach is only a short walk. There are restaurants within walking distance. There is no elevator on site. Just keep in mind if you have anyone in your group that may have an issue climbing several flights of stairs.

Property as described, but we were surprised by the quality of the recent remodel. The building itself I would say would rate a 3 out of 5 (as it is older and in need of some maintenance). The unit however was perfect - clean - modern - quality throughout - complete amenities and beyond expectations. Good location, excellent bay view, easy access to the gulf, and simply a gem.

From the moment of check in everything about this Beach Palms condo was perfection! Terry (the owner) was only a call or text away if needed and responds immediately! Contactless check-in with door code was a wonderful thing, no need to worry about keys! Be prepared for some stairs, I believe I counted 35. But they are the stairway to paradise! Upon arrival the the condo smelled fresh & clean, and it was! This is a really big deal for me & it made me immediately comfortable. All appliances and furnishings are top quality, and it perfect working order! There are even product guides available if needed! The owner has thought of everything you could ,pretty much, possibly need for your stay! Just bought some extra trash bags, detergent, paper products & minimal cooking staples: ie salt & pepper/ seasonings, olive oil, things like that. The condo is very tastefully decorated, furniture & beds (master is on the firm side) are very comfortable! There are extra pillows and blankets, beach towels, beach chairs (awesome Tommy Bahama chairs!) sand toys & 2 Tommy Bahama beach umbrellas! Again, top quality!! Both bathrooms are newly renovated with rainshower shower heads & handheld shower heads, really nicely done! The view from the deck is beyond outstanding! I was so excited to see there were new bar height chairs and tables on the deck, a place we loved spending time! Saw dolphins from the deck most days and enjoyed watching the boats and water activities! Also the enchanting lights on the bay at night-Spectacular! Oh and the Cortez draw bridge is fun to watch as it opens and closes to let larger boats sail through! Loved the location, tucked away from the main road on the bay, within walking distance of eateries , the trolley stop and of coarse the BEACH! The ocean was a bit cold some days so the heated pool at the condo was very welcoming!! All that said, and I think I could even add more positive things, I look forward to staying here again! What a wonderful weekend at a wonderful beach condo! I came here with my mother and my two young children. The ease of checking in, the 3 minute walk down to the white sandy beach, the location to tons of restaurant options and a publix was just perfect! The pool was a nice added bonus when the kids were done with the beach to just come back and relax while they swam around. The only callout would be the parking was a little tricky when we first arrived.....we got in late Friday night and parked in a guest spot. Needed to walk around in the AM to figure out how to get to the entrance to our parking spot. Overall just a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful weekend! The condo is beautifully decorated/renovated and they have everything you need! Thank you Terry!

We went down to Anna Maria Island for our honeymoon, and are SO happy we stumbled across Terry and Sandys rental on Brandenton Beach!! Not only were the accommodations superb, we had the most amazing view of the sunset, and were in an amazing location! The free trolley stop was right in front of the rental road, but also, Bridge Street was only a 10-15 minute walk - and you could do it along the beach, which was accessible right across the street! Not only did we have al the above, we had amazing communication with Terry leading up to our trip. With detailed information on the property, recommendations of all the local places to visit and eat at, along with full itineraries, should we have been in need. Cannot wait to come back and visit - whether it’s our anniversary or with family. Thank you!!

Baywatch was a great place to stay! Perfect location, all the amenities we needed, beautiful condo, AMAZING view! We will be back! Everyone was great to work with and answered any questions we had right away. Just a short walk to the beach (definitely need to rent a beach wagon and we bought an umbrella that we left for the next renters) and the pool was perfect. We had a fantastic time at Beach Palms 5b! The condo was clean and everything we expected. We used the included beach chairs almost everyday. The deck overlooking the bay was amazing for morning coffee and we even saw dolphins one afternoon. The location was also close to many walkable restaurants. The location is great for accessibility to nearby restaurants and directly across the street from the beach. The Condo was roomy. The cleanliness of the property could be a bit nicer. Balconys needs to be cleaned better, alot of bird activity on the balconys. No grille on property, which would have been a plus. This is perfect for anyone with their personal boat as there is a dock location. This is great for families with the roomy sleeping area.

We had a great stay! The condo was clean, very nice and updated. Kitchen stocked with everything you’d need. The very short walk to the beach is nice. The pool was a great size. The chairs in the condo were Convenient. The local rental company that offers beach service had a lot to choose from, although we were looking for the nice chaise chairs and large sturdy umbrellas. This company only offers fold up chairs and umbrellas for winds under 15mph. But we made it work with the umbrellas left behind from previous guests. GREAT location to shops, restaurants. This place was so beautiful, clean close to beaches and fully stocked. Terry the owner every helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this place. The only negative I can think of, there was not a scrubbing brush in the kitchen so we bought one.... (not a big deal) and the TV has parental restrictions we were unable to watch a popular movie that was rated R, but porn or crazy crap. The pool was clean. A little challenging to find the name of the complex is not well displayed, but if you follow the every detailed directions provided by Terry you will arrive safely there.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. Everything was very clean. The updates are well done. We liked that you could not hear noise coming from other condos. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and very organized. We enjoyed being able to sit on the balcony and having the 2 tables and 4 chairs that are provided. The condo view is of the bay side. There is a very short walk to the beach. The daily walks are beautiful!

The location is great! Every morning started with a great sunrise and the beach is a short walk as advertised. The interior was recently updated and very clean. The kitchen was well appointed and had all the necessary tools for meal preparation. The pool was heated, making it a comfortable alternative to the ocean on cool days. The property manager was very helpful and responsive. Check out was easy. No list of requirements like some places. We would stay again.

Great location! You can’t beat the location with views of the gulf, walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. There is a trolly stop just out the driveway that gives you easy access to the whole island. The condo is updated and decorated with a modern nautical feel. The only down side was the patio furniture. It was not at all on the level of the condo in terms of luxury. There are no high top seating options so when you sit you are at eye level with the railing and cannot enjoy the view. It was also rusted and the seat cushions torn and clearly very old. This was the only thing keeping this from being a perfect review. Lovely views The property was well equipped and close to all amenities. The beaches are beautiful and the pool was lovely. The deck chairs need replacing and need umbrellas for the tables. Condo with a view We enjoyed our stay in this condo overlooking the Inland Waterway. It has a recently been renovated master bath and kitchen, with upscale appliances. It is on the 2nd floor, and unfortunately there is no elevator. The owner is very pleasant and very willing to help in any way. Would definitely go back The condo was very clean, had everything we needed, and the view of the inter coastal was beautiful. It was a bit hard to find though, so maybe a sign or something out at the street would help. The only other comment I have is that the check-out time of 10:00am is a bit early. Great Rental We had a great week on AMI. The property is within walking distance and has ample parking and pool. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Boat dock We live local and wanted to spend a few days on the island with our boat. We were able to tie the boat on the dock and see it from the condo. Great AMI rental! We've been coming to AMI for years and have stayed in a variety of places. This one is at the top of our list when looking at location, cost, and quality. It's bay side but on the narrow part of the island so a really short walk to the beach. Only a few blocks to Bridge Street. There are a few dining locations even closer and we liked them all - the Mexican place, the tiki bar, and the barbecue place. The place itself is well decorated, very well maintained, and has everything you need. Amazing Spring Break Our stay on Anna Maria Island at Beach Palms was amazing!! The condo was clean and very well stocked with the items we needed for our stay. The view off our balcony was completely stunning. To have the beach minutes from your door was ideal for the kids. The center of town was a ten minute walk that we did every night. I would highly recommend this property. Teen/Tween vacation fun! Thanks to Terry and Sandy! We had a great time! The condo had everything we needed. Beach towels, blender, fully stocked kitchen and all new appliances. Multiple places to sit and eat. All the family games we could ever have time to play. Something for everyone. Washer/dryer in the unit was key. Beautiful spot for coffee on the deck every morning. We had an amazing time at Terry’s Anna Maria Beach Condo!!! It is truly a fantastic place to vacation with beautiful water views from the condo, excellent access to the gorgeous beach, and and very nice clean pool. We loved taking the free trolley around the island to visit many of the areas restaurants or shop...super convenient! The condo was perfect with everything you would need to cook, plenty of relaxing seating for our family of 5 and really comfortable beds. We truly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!!!

Sparkling clean place! The place had everything we needed. I forgot games to play with the family and my hair dryer- Found both of these things at the rental. Awesome place! Short walk to beach- even had chairs and beach toys for the kids!

Nice On the inter coastal which is nice. Very short walk to the beach. GPS takes you to the wrong side of the complex. Lots of notes around saying don’t do this and don’t do that which is not exactly welcoming. Bay Watch Condo The condo was perfect for my family-large & bright. Newly updated bathrooms & a large deck overlooking the bay. It was quiet & spacious. We could walk to most restaurants & shops. Great location! Great location, 1 min walk to the beach. We overlooked the bay, beautiful. Went fishing with my 4y and 2y boys on the dock, saw 3 dolphins, threw fish to a great blue heron and a pelican friend who waited patiently by until we caught something ??. Raccoons came swimming by the dock one evening, it was National Geographic everywhere! Wonderful stay at Bradenton beach! My mom, 2 daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The two bedrooms and trundle bed were perfect for us. There was even a pull out couch that we never used. Everything was very clean and decorated nicely. The beach accessories, chairs and floats were a nice bonus. The condo is located 3 floors floors up but keep in mind there are no elevators. The view from the balcony is nice. We were lucky enough to see some dolphins while sitting on the balcony one evening. Our daughters were really excited to use the pool however at times it got very busy. Once during our stay there was a family with 8 kids that just took over the pool. They even left all their clothes/towels draped over the fence and chairs as well as pool floats everywhere for several days. There is a limit to the amount of guests in the pool at one time but it was clearly disregarded and no one there to enforce it. The location is nice. The beach is easily accessible right across the street. There were several restaurants within walking distance. The trolly and Monkey bus were also very convenient to use and stopped near the condo. Terry is an excellent host! Communication with him over email and phone is very easy. He clearly takes pride in what he does and wants to ensure his guests enjoy their stay, which we did! Best Thanksgiving Ever We were excited to return to AMA for the first time in over 12 years. At that time, we had stayed at this building but in a different unit. This visit, we loved waking up to beautiful sunrises every morning. The building is quiet and close to the beach. We saw dolphins in the bay and enjoyed spending our days at the beach. The owner was great to work with. Stunning views This place is all about the location, the views from the balcony are just stunning waking up to beautiful sunrises was just the best. The. Condo is well equipped for everything you need. There are plenty of good local restaurants. The local wildlife is amazing. Doesn't Get Much Better Than This! This condo is lovely - well-furnished, well-stocked, clean, and comfortable. From sitting on the balcony overlooking the bay to the short walk to the Gulf with its amazing sunsets, our vacation was wonderful. Just love that you can walk to so many restaurants and shops and take the free trolley if you don't want to move your car. Such a convenient location. Beautiful views and very central to lots of shops, restaurants, and beaches! The place itself is a little dated but with all the fun things to do it was hardly noticed. Terry is a super responsive host, one of the showers wasn’t draining and he had someone fix it within hours. Will definitely visit another one of his properties!

Much better choice than staying in a hotel. The unit has a great view of the bay and only a short walk to the beautiful waters of the gulf. The pool was wonderful and never crowded. Terry was a very good host and very helpful. Lots of cookware for making meals.

The condo is spotless, updated, well stocked with utensils and appliances - even martini glasses, which we put to good use ... am already thinking about a return visit. Terry’s home is beautiful. The sunrise views are the best part. I could stay on the balcony all day. Home is very clean and spacious. The king bed in the master was a nice surprise (i thought it was a queen from the listing). The location is great, walking distance to many great restaurants & shops. The pool is just ok, there is not much sun at the pool due to the buildings surround it but with the beach so close we didn’t miss the pool. Only thing i would say is bring some extra beach towels. There are only 2 there. Also the beach chairs are kinda crumby but that’s an easy upgrade that I’m sure Terry will fix. Would love to go back for another wonderful vacation.

Most amazing spot on Anna Maria Island. From sunset to sunrise, you will have the best vacation ever. The space is very accommodating- lots of places to sleep and unwind. Everything was available in the kitchen - we cooked every meal due to social distancing and just wanting to stay away from crowds. So, it was even more important to us that the space was equipped with everything. We just loved the balcony views. That was the most lovely part of the trip. We enjoyed watching the boats and wildlife. The first night, a giant rainbow graced us over the bay after a small storm. Dolphins were frolicking around the dock. I thought we were in a fairytale. My teenager daughters and I will be back. I loved that they could walk to the beach or pool anytime and I could also do my own thing. Very safe and family friendly. The road to cross to the beach can very busy - so be careful! Everything was a 20-star rating!!

Home was very nice, just as the photos indicate. The only concern we had was the cleaning lady was just starting as we were checking in. She was very polite, no issues there but she didn’t leave until around 5:30. No other issues and Terry was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions or concerns.

Great clean condo with wonderful views of the bay and super easy access to the beach. Communication with the host is easy and quick. Loved that there were beach items available to use as needed. Definitely recommend the Wicked Cantina for a happy hour margarita!
