Visitors and residents can catch a ride on the water from Wednesday through Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The service currently runs between the historic Bridge Street Pier on AMI, and the Bradenton Riverwalk Pier in downtown Bradenton on the mainland (not to be confused with Bradenton Beach, which is on the island).

Hurricane Update 2025
The Anna Maria Island Ferry is operational following the most recent hurricanes.
When the service first opened it included a stop at AMI City Pier. Due to hurricane damage, the AMI City Pier is temporarily closed, which means the ferry runs solely between Bridge Street Pier on AMI and the Bradenton Riverwalk Pier.
Despite the damage caused by 2024's hurricane, the local community has pulled together to get the area back on its feet. No need to worry; Anna Maria Island is open and ready to welcome visitors.
