A Reflective Place for Contemplation

I booked this property on a whim to extend a writing retreat into a working holiday. I am so glad I did! I got to catch up on grading sitting on a porch overlooking one of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen! The property itself is so quiet and peaceful you feel as if you are in another world. Rain or shine, I walked and ran the trail below the pool every day. The waterfall is gorgeous, but even more so the overlooks on the planned development. You are also centrally located for Panther Valley, Gorges, and other nearby [...]

A Wonderful Stay!!!

A clean, spacious facility. Well equipped. A wonderful heated pool (which we needed as the weather was a little cooler than we expected.) A short walk across the street to the beach! A short walk to bars and restaurants! All in all, we were very, very happy with our choice! 12/12/2020 at 8:03 PM Joseph Fornal     You responded on 12/20/2020 at 5:50 PM   Hi Joseph, Thank you for your awesome five star review and thank you again for being our guests. Would Definitely Stay Here Again!

Would definitely stay here again! We had a great time at the Anna Maria Island Bay Watch Bungalow. The communication was quick, easy and the place looks exactly like it does in the pictures. It's large, bright and clean. It had everything we expected except handsoap in the bathrooms. It's a 1-minute walk to their dock on the Intercostal and a 5-minute walk to the Gulf. The pool was heated and clean. Plenty of restaurants with bars within walking distance. Free Trolley transportation up and down Gulf Drive. I have recommended to a few friends already! 12/19/2020 at 11:59 AM [...]

Top Ten Things To Do On Anna Maria Island

Just south of St. Petersburg lies one of Florida's small barrier islands, Anna Maria, which gleams with seven miles of far-reaching white beaches and features picturesque beach town shops and eateries.  Local Floridians gained access to Anna Maria Island in 1921 when the wooden Cortez bridge was built to connect the islet to the mainland, and it's been a well-kept secret amongst natives ever since. Anna Maria Island maintains quintessential seaside features: it's lined with reduced-speed roads that bustle with golf carts and bicycles. Islanders also offer a free trolley service that runs up and down the island all day.  [...]
